Ruta Khan: My Journey of Dedication and Vision
Growing up in Lithuania, I always knew I wanted to help others, whether in the medical field or life in general. When I had the opportunity to move to the United States in 2000, I seized it with determination and a dream. I lived with a friend who was a nurse, and she encouraged me to become a nurse assistant in 2001. Balancing work and studies, I graduated from Nursing school in 2005.

My career began as a nurse, but my ambitions didn't stop there; I wanted to become a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Life threw its challenges my way, including IVF treatments, raising two beautiful children, and going through a divorce. Despite these hurdles, I found myself working multiple jobs in the medical spa, hospital, and hormone therapy fields. Each experience, each challenge, only fueled my passion and resilience.

The urge to create my own vision for a medical spa never left me. In 2017, I joined the medspa field, and by 2019, I had taken a leap of faith and started my own medspa in a small suite in Burr Ridge. I began seeing patients after my various other jobs, driven by my passion for providing exceptional care.

From those humble beginnings, I gradually hired staff and grew my practice. Today, Medical & Beauty Care Clinic has flourished into a thriving clinic in Oakbrook. My journey has been one of resilience, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. I have been in the medical field for 23 years now, and I am proud of how far we have come.

But this clinic is about so much more than Botox and fillers. It's about making people feel beautiful and healthy, getting to the root causes of illness such as hormone imbalances, or conducting blood work to understand what causes their acne. It's about helping people truly understand that health is wealth. It's about giving people the confidence to embrace their true selves, knowing they are cared for from the inside out.

Looking forward, my goal is to continue building more practices with nurses who share the same passion for this industry. Together, we can make an even greater impact, helping people achieve their best health and beauty. I believe that by empowering others, we create a ripple effect of positivity and well-being.
